Vision
The
Lyceum Parent Guild will foster the involvement of all parents
in building the Lyceum School Community.'
The
Lyceum Parent Guild is a volunteer association representing
the parent body and dedicated to supporting the social, physical
and spiritual environment of the students. Its purpose is
to foster parents' interest in the school; to promote cooperation,
friendships, and unity amongst the students, faculty and parents.
Guild
members are actively involved in school projects, extra-curricular
activities and provide assistance in raising funds for other
educational initiatives.
All
parents of students on the active roll of The Lyceum are eligible
to become members. Parents do however; need to submit an application
for membership. All members are encouraged to participate
actively in the Guild.
The
Guild is managed by an Executive Body of parents and faculty
members consisting of the following:

St. Patrick’s Debate
The debating society participated in the St. Patricks debate.
Over 40 schools were present and Lyceum’s Ahmed Ali
won 2nd place.

Parent/Student Debate
The school held a successful Parent vs. Student debate where
the students impressed the parents with their oratory skills.

Ms. Ruth Pfau founder member of MALC gave an anecdotal talk
that the students found inspiring.

15 students were taken to the Aga Khan University to hear
noted international Historian and Theologian Ms. Karen Armstrong.

Farewell and Graduation
Last year’s A2s were ceremoniously bid adieu first with
an entertaining farewell party followed by a more somber graduation
ceremony.

Lyceum Rowing
The Bengal Rowing Club’s (BRC) International School
Regatta was held from July 25 – 27th in Kolkata. Over
200 students represented 40 schools from 4 countries. The
Pakistan contingent comprised 36 rowers from 7 schools. The
Lyceum team led by Ali Akbar Khan made it to the semi finals
in their maiden appearance.
